Scale

By default, a monetary value (bet, win, ...) unit (1) represents a 0.01 EUR (1 cent).

When a game server operates with win multipliers lower than 1, it is important to consider increasing its scale to allow currencies with different ratios than eur to play with low values (e.g, playing 0.01 EUR and getting a x0.5 win might be a no-op, but playing 50TZS, it would mean winning 25TZS). To achieve this, the game server needs to set the scale parameter in the config call response to 10 (x0.Y) or 100 (x0.0Y) accordingly.

When doing so, all monetary values within the game server and client (win & bet in play, ...) must also be multiplied by this scale.

For instance, where the play response win was before 1, now must be 10.

Additional Notes

  • Take into consideration that having lower than 1 multipliers requires to increase the minimum bet for high value currencies (like EUR, where the minimum bet to support a x0.1 would be 0.10 EUR, so bets like 0.05 EUR would be unavailable).
  • In order to automatically benefit from bet values adapted to each market (lower for low-value currencies and higher for higher-value ones) you should notify the RGS staff so the "smart fit" feature is enabled.
  • Games with lower than 1 multipliers should consider having a feature-flag so these can be disabled for some currencies or by operator decission as part of their dynamic configuration.
  • Frontend animations for these kind of wins should be toggleable to adapt to some strict markets that don't allow low-win celebrations.
